DEGC’s team of project managers work with qualified firms to develop major projects and to perform important functions on jobs that the DEGC manages for other organizations. Our work is focused on planning, testing, designing, engineering, and rebuilding within the city of Detroit, with contractor opportunities primarily in construction-related industries.

 

The DEGC staffs several of Detroit’s redevelopment authorities, including the Downtown Development Authority (DDA) and the Economic Development Corporation (EDC) and the City of Detroit itself. We use a strategic approach which allows us to redevelop entire sections of the city at one time. By working in these Development Districts, we can build a momentum, making a greater impact.
