Introduction to Linocut

This workshop explores the materials and techniques needed to create a hand-carved image that is printable on a letterpress. Students should come to class with an idea or example of the imagery they will carve on a 6”x 9” block of linoleum. They will learn to properly lock-up, register, and print their block on proof presses.

GRAILS ... The Sole and Black Culture

GRAILS will explore the intimate between sneaker culture and the African American experience. The exhibition will feature some of the hottest vintage and contemporary sneaker designs that provide insight into the unique stories of the people who covet, collect and consume sneakers.

MOTOR CITY BLACK AGE OF COMICS/MANGA CON 2020
