The DEGC works in partnership with various development organizations and partners to help retain existing businesses and industries by identifying and solving issues facing local firms, identifying opportunities to help firms expand and building relationships with local business executives.
We partner with representatives from the State of Michigan and Wayne County governments, as well as the Michigan Citizens Research Council in delivering a seamless and comprehensive package of development-related services. Through this partnership we are able to offer various Michigan economic development resources.
In addition, we work closely with private sector stakeholders that play an invaluable role in the development process. These include commercial realtors and developers, railroads, utility companies, environmental consultants, banks, law firms and others.
