DEGC is moving Detroit forward by creating world class real estate projects through public/private partnerships. Our staff leads real estate development through a variety of core functions including research and analysis, land acquisition and construction management. Every step of the way, DEGC ensures that properties are optimized for both prospective buyers and the city. This includes residential, office, retail and industrial space.

To accomplish this, we work closely with a number of collaborative partners, including:  Detroit Land Bank Authority, City of Detroit Planning and Development Department, City of Detroit Housing and Revitalization Department and Detroit Building Authority. Our State of Michigan partners include Michigan Economic Development Authority, Michigan Department of Environmental Quality and Michigan Department of Natural Resources. The DEGC real estate team also is tied in closely with a variety of non-profit organizations, development corporations and financial institutions.
